Recap: Law & Justice Meeting

Through our Criminal Legal System Q&A sessions, we’ve had the pleasure of connecting with impacted community members interested in testifying before the Montana Law and Justice Interim Committee on July 14th. Catalyst MT provided testimony training, financial assistance to help reduce the barriers of traveling to Helena, and gathered for a pizza lunch before the hearing to build community and prepare together. We cannot express our gratitude enough to 406Revolutionized Founder, Amanda McKnight, for partnering with us to host those sessions and for connecting us to her vast community!

As we look ahead to the next legislative session, we’re excited to continue growing this community, developing new leaders, and building the collective power needed to create a more just and humane criminal legal system in Montana.
